RE-LAUNCHING JANUARY 2021
Crossbar have been running our Junior Football Academies in both Shrewsbury and Telford for over 10 years offering boys and girls from ages 4 – 12, of all abilities, the opportunity to improve both technically and physically with our structured coaching sessions, focusing on individual player development.
Each term we concentrate on a different topic within the beautiful game of Football giving all players who attend the chance to develop and improve.
KrossbarKidz Ages 4-7
An introduction to Football focusing on key FUNdamental skills and physical literacy. Individual child development is our goal at Krossbar Kidz with FUN being the key ingredient for every session. Up until the age of 7 is the most important time for children to develop their Physical Literacy with Agility, Balance and Coordination being embedded into the foundations of each session. Our Krossbarkidz will be made to feel part of our Crossbar Family where we use the social element of Sport and in the case Football to also teach key life, team work and emotional skills.
The Crossbar Academy 8-12
The Academy is a direct progression from KrossbarKidz where players are challenged that little bit further. Our Academy sessions offer high quality additional coaching which doesn’t conflict with junior clubs, development centres or professional academies. The professional approach our coaches take sees discipline and focus instilled to players within a safe and structured environment where players are encouraged to express themselves.
