Crossbar Coaching’ believe that sport can be used as a tool not only to improve physical attributes such as balance, coordination and awareness through to development in ability but can also be used to develop improved attitude, character, teamwork skills and health and social issues.

We define our sessions around the idea of making provision an extension of what is being taught in school and at home with discipline and routine being the foundation for fun, structured sessions as not to send out mixed messages to the children.

Crossbar Coaching’ is equipped to offer a range of coaching and teaching solutions that include PPA cover, Out of School Hours Learning Sessions (including lunch time and after school clubs) or support with the delivery of junior club sessions. Complementing this, advice to how schools can achieve
wider Sport development outcomes is provided.

Crossbar Coaching’ does not have an aim of working with as many schools as possible. Instead, the organisation aims to identify a number of schools that are keen to develop a long term relationship and create a learning culture for all involved.
