Danny Edwards

Danny started his career at shrewsbury town at the age of 12 he progressed through the youth system to gain a 3yr scholarship where he played regular reserve team football. He was released as a 1st year pro and moved to stafford rangers where he won promotion to the conference premier in his first year, an attacking left winger he scored 12 goals in his debut season, he then suffered a serious injury and was sidelined for over a year.

He came back to play 3 more seasons for stafford rangers then moving to Redditch in the confrence north making the most starts out of all the squad and scoring 9 goals, a further year followed before a move to afc telford winning the setanta shield and reaching the play off final he left to go bac to stafford rangers, Danny is now playing at Worcester city back in the conference north.

He played for england under 19s schools represented his district and county since he was 15 and was the last player to play at maine road manchester city ground before it was knocked down scoring a wonder goal from just under the half way line. He has coached for crossbar for over 2yrs and has gained his level 2 and is taking his UEFA B licence soon his bubbly character is a strong point in his coaching
